
Chia-Hsuan Lin (“jah-shwen”) brings precision, passion, and expressive energy to the concert stage. Whether conducting Brahms and Bartók or championing contemporary voices such as Ke-Chia Chen and Texu Kim, she is recognized for performances of emotional depth, refined ensemble, and rhythmic vitality.
Chia-Hsuan serves as Music Director of the Rochester Symphony and appears with leading orchestras across the United States in symphonic, ballet, film, and pops performances. Guest engagements this season include the Alexandria Symphony, National Philharmonic, Kalamazoo Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Orlando Philharmonic, and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, along with covering with the New York Philharmonic at Bravo! Vail, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Featuring works by Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, and Rimsky-Korsakov, the season reflects her versatility and distinctive artistic voice.
