Chia-Hsuan Lin (“jah-shwen”) electrifies concert halls with performances that are as precise as they are passionate. Whether leading Brahms and Bartok or fresh voices like Ke-Chia Chen and Texu Kim, her concerts are celebrated for their emotional depth, exquisite ensemble, and rhythmic fluidity.

Highlights of the 2025-2026 season, Chia-Hsuan Lin serves as Music Director of the Rochester Symphony and appears with leading orchestras across the United States in a wide-ranging season of symphonic, ballet, film, and pops performances. Guest appearances include engagements with the Alexandria Symphony, National Philharmonic, Kalamazoo Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Orlando Philharmonic, and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, in addition to cover conducting work with the New York Philharmonic, Bravo! Vail, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Her season includes major works by Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, and Rimsky-Korsakov, as well as collaborations with distinguished soloists, reflecting both versatility and a distinctive artistic voice.
